Show hours will be 6-9 pm on Friday, 9-4 on Saturday and 11-4 on Sunday. Demonstrations will be held Saturday and Sunday.
Pieces offered will include hand-woven and hand-dyed scarves, luxurious shawls, one-of-a-kind jackets, vests and sweaters, unique casual and formal table linens, cozy baby blankets, distinctive baskets, and fabulous stuffed animals. Other items include luscious handspun yarns, Christmas ornaments, an exceptional selection of fiber-art wall pieces and rugs, a variety of hand-felted hats, and incredible woven beadwork.
All make wonderful holiday gifts! The Exhibition and Sale is the culmination of the year’s creative efforts of many guild members. You will find a stunning array of works in wool, silk, pearl cotton, glittering beads, recycled fibers and much more.
Admission is free. Guild members will personally answer your questions, discuss various art-related activities in our area and aid you in selection of pieces. Door prize drawings will be held every half hour both Saturday and Sunday: you must be present to win.
Membership in The Columbia Weavers and Spinners’ Guild is open to all persons interested in the field of fiber arts.
