Art in the Park
The First Saturday and Sunday in June
Art in the Park is a 41-year old festival presented by the Columbia Art
League. It is located on the historic campus of Stephens College.
Art in the Park is the largest fine arts festival in mid-Missouri. The
festival features more than 80 artists from Missouri and
neighboring states displaying and selling fine arts and crafts of a variety
of media. Families will find something for every age in the special
hands-on art activity areas. The festival wouldn't be complete
without the sound of musicians. At Art in the Park you can hear
bluegrass, country western, jazz, classical and everything in-
between. You will also see clowns, enjoy strolling musicians and listen as
storytellers weave their magic on children and adults alike.
